ONDO Rebounds From Intraday Lows as Broader Crypto Selloff Deepens

Neon-lit ONDO token stands firm amid market selloff; glowing chart with blue-cyan-purple hues.

ONDO recovered sharply from overnight lows on October 30 but remained negative over 24 hours as a broader cryptocurrency selloff pushed Bitcoin below $78,000. The token rebounded from around $0.36-$0.37 toward $0.39, including a roughly 7.6% four-hour recovery during the Asian session. The move represents an intraday rebound rather than sustained relative strength, with ONDO still down roughly 4%-6% over the preceding 24 hours.

The recovery coincides with fresh product developments at Ondo Finance. On October 29, the company announced that Ondo Intelligent Portfolios are now live on Solana, expanding seven tokenized portfolio strategies to another major blockchain. The Solana rollout provides a current Ondo-specific development, but there is not enough evidence to establish that it caused ONDO’s intraday price recovery. The portfolios had previously accumulated more than $45 million in TVL across Ethereum and BNB Chain.

ONDO Recovers After Falling Below $0.40

ONDO traded as high as roughly $0.43 before falling toward $0.36 during the broader market decline. Bitcoin simultaneously dropped below $78,000, with its 24-hour range extending from approximately $76,400 to $81,800. ONDO therefore participated in the wider risk-off move before recovering part of its losses, rather than cleanly separating from the rest of the crypto market throughout the session.

That distinction changes the technical interpretation of the move. Earlier support around $0.40 did not hold through the overnight decline, while the subsequent rebound returned ONDO toward $0.39. The immediate structure is now defined by recovery from a new short-term low rather than defense of the $0.40-$0.42 area described in earlier market snapshots. Historical data show ONDO closed near $0.421 on October 28 before the latest selloff accelerated.

Pockets of relative strength have appeared elsewhere during previous altcoin declines, including periods when BNB, ADA and SHIB held up better than the broader altcoin market. Those short-term divergences need to be measured against identical time windows, since a token can outperform over four hours while remaining a larger loser over 24 hours or one week.

Ondo Expands Tokenized Asset Infrastructure

The price volatility comes during an active product cycle for Ondo. The company was named an ecosystem collaborator in DTCC’s newly launched Tokenization Service, after Ondo used DTC Tokenized Entitlements earlier this year to back tokenized stock products. That relationship expands Ondo’s connection to regulated securities infrastructure without establishing a direct value-accrual mechanism for the ONDO governance token.

Ondo has also expanded its tokenized-equity distribution across multiple networks, including a phased integration with ZIGChain and a governance layer that lets holders of tokenized stocks submit proxy-voting preferences through Broadridge. Those developments strengthen the operating infrastructure around Ondo’s products, but product adoption and ONDO token demand remain separate metrics.

The October 30 session therefore presents a more nuanced picture than simple resilience. ONDO has recovered strongly from its intraday lows while remaining down on the day and roughly 10% lower over the past week. Its expanding tokenization business provides a current fundamental backdrop, but sustained relative strength would require the recovery to persist beyond a short rebound during a highly volatile market session.
