Solana Tokenized Stock Addresses Reach 1.4 Million

Solana has reached 1.4 million addresses holding tokenized stocks, extending a rapid expansion in blockchain-based equity distribution that accelerated during September. The address count has risen sharply from roughly 500,000 around the beginning of the summer, although wallets should not be interpreted as an equivalent number of individual investors.

The milestone was highlighted by the official Solana account on October 19 using data attributed to Blockworks. Solana Foundation had already reported one million cumulative tokenized-stock holder wallets at the end of September, alongside roughly $684 million in tokenized-equity supply and $4.4 billion in September trading volume. The latest figure adds another approximately 400,000 addresses to that holder metric in less than a month.

The acceleration does not establish that 1.4 million different people own tokenized equities. One participant can control multiple wallets, exchanges and applications can use omnibus or operational addresses, and automated systems may also hold tokens. The metric measures the breadth of on-chain addresses holding these products, not verified human users or institutional accounts.

Tokenized Stocks Grow Within a Larger RWA Market

Tokenized equities remain only one component of Solana’s expanding financial-asset infrastructure. Solana Foundation reported $4.6 billion in real-world asset value at the end of September, up from more than $4 billion during August. Stablecoins were reported separately, with supply reaching a record $17.51 billion during September.

That distinction matters because stablecoin supply, tokenized-equity value and total RWA value describe different categories and should not be combined into a single measure of capital deployed. Earlier snapshots already showed Solana’s non-stablecoin RWA value exceeding $4 billion, covering instruments including tokenized funds, Treasuries, equities and other financial assets.

Equity infrastructure is also becoming more sophisticated. Kraken’s xChange engine connects tokenized-stock liquidity across Solana and Ethereum, while Solana Foundation recently released an institutional delivery-versus-payment settlement standard. Those systems expand the infrastructure available for tokenized securities, but their availability does not by itself demonstrate corresponding investor demand or capital deployment.

Corporate actions introduce another distinction. Dividend distributions, splits and voting rights depend on the legal and technical structure of each tokenized-stock product. Some tokens represent claims against shares held by an intermediary rather than direct shareholder ownership, meaning 1.4 million holding addresses do not necessarily translate into 1.4 million on-chain votes or dividend transactions.

Network Activity Provides Capacity, Not User Counts

The tokenized-stock milestone comes during a period of unusually high Solana transaction activity. The network set a weekly record of 1.318 billion non-vote transactions in August, excluding validator voting traffic but still including application calls, automated activity and bots.

For Q3, Solana Foundation reported 8.78 billion completed non-vote transactions, 23.3% above Q2. Blockworks independently calculated approximately 8.92 billion using its own indexing methodology. Neither transaction total can be converted directly into users, tokenized-stock investors or economic value transferred.

Solana’s expanding throughput nevertheless provides infrastructure for a growing number of financial applications, including tokenized securities that can trade outside conventional exchange hours. The stronger adoption signal is therefore the combination of rising holder addresses, tokenized-equity supply and trading activity rather than the 1.4 million figure in isolation.

The latest milestone shows that tokenized stocks are reaching a substantially broader set of Solana addresses than earlier in 2026. Whether that distribution develops into durable market depth will depend on capital held, recurring trading activity, liquidity and the successful servicing of corporate actions, not simply continued growth in wallet count.
